So I’m officially a North Canton Hoover enthusiast due to my interactions daily with the students of Hoover Middle and High Schools. This district really cares for its students and uses a team approach to education something that I’ve been used to at Central for a few years.
I’m getting work everyday as a substitute in the District and filling several semi-extended absences in the next few weeks. Also exciting is the football team’s success as they play Brunswick in the regional final this Saturday; the school is nuts and it’s enjoyable to see the Hoover community come to together in support of their team.
Last night Malone College hosted author and speaker Brennan Manning, writer of the Ragamuffin Gospel and many other books. I was surprised to find the Stewart Room completely full with eager college students and many members of Canton’s Church community.
